All those lies-
You played me over-
Now I realize that it's over-
And I know that you were too good to be true-
Why would you still give me loving-
Knowing you weren't thinkin' of me-
I know now I have no choice except to go-
Take all of your excuses-
To go wash away my pain with-
All the comfort that your love was just for me-
So I see you never loved me-
When you led me to believe that-
I would spend the rest of my life in you arms-
Can you give me a reason-
Why I should stay with you-
And continue with the love we shared so close-
How could I not have seen it-
So clear in front of me-
that was just something my heart didn't want to see-
Will you say that you're sorry-
For breaking up my heart-
And the promise that you'd always be right here-
You can't know how much you hurt me-
I was so in love with you-
Now you can wash away the love that came so soon-
Will you ever forgive me-
For just being so naive that-
I refused to admit your love wasn't true-
I got lost inside the thought-
Somehow finding that my true love-
Was so perfect that I didn't want to see-
Let's just let this be a lesson-
To those who beleive in true love-
Just make sure that it's not too good to be true-
You will continue onward-
With the love that spiralled down ward-
You'll forgive, but pain will not let you forget.
